Based on the resolutions of the Extraordinary General Meeting held on December 28, 2013, the company's legal status was changed from a private joint stock company to a public joint stock company. On March 1, 2014, through letter No. 121/258488, the company was included in the list of companies registered with the Securities and Exchange Organization under registration No. 11236. Furthermore, on March 12, 2014, pursuant to letter No. 92/3/18065, the company was listed among the companies on the Second Market of the Iran Fara Bourse under the trading symbol "ARFA", and its initial public offering took place on March 19, 2014. According to Article 2 of the Articles of Association and the approval of the Extraordinary General Meeting held on December 28, 2013, the company's principal activities include establishing iron and steel plants and related facilities; carrying out steelmaking operations using various melting and casting methods, as well as rolling ferrous metals; manufacturing various standard geometric components; constructing related facilities; and developing associated auxiliary and downstream industries to advance and improve the steel industry.

According to Operating License No. 91/69, dated July 3, 2013, issued by the Yazd Province Department of Industry, Mine and Trade, operation of the company's direct reduction unit commenced on the same date, with an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons of sponge iron. Furthermore, under Operating License No. 34589, dated October 1, 2013, issued by the same organization, operation of the steelmaking unit commenced in 2013, with an annual production capacity of 800,000 tons of steel billets.
